About CWP
Since its launch in 2015, CWP has invested approximately $387 million in design, construction and maintenance of 428 stormwater restoration projects completed or advanced throughout Prince George’s County. Approximately $273 million of that investment has been directed to minority and County-based businesses, while more than 50 percent of project labor hours have been performed by Prince George’s County residents.
CWP has also completed eight Mentor-Protégé Program cohorts, resulting in approximately $60 million in competitive contract awards, and has expanded its workforce and education impact through initiatives such as its Treating & Teaching program, which has reached more than 60 schools. Together, these investments demonstrate how CWP is leveraging sustainable infrastructure to drive economic opportunity, strengthen the local businesses and create lasting impact throughout Prince George’s County.
